Tanglewood Homeowners’ Association
Meeting September 17, 2020 Location: THOA Pool House @7:00 – 8:00
In attendance: President Janet Hillard, Treasurer Suzy Wood, IT/Communications Tim Meyung, Secretary Brian Purdy
Hot Topics:
- The pool is officially closed, thank you everyone for keeping the pool area clean and safe for each other.
- Board agreed to purchase a modest Kroger gift certificate for Jeff “Murph” Murphy In appreciation for all the work he does to keep our pool in top shape.
- Positions of Vice President and Pool and Grounds are if anyone has an interest in joining the HOA.
Finances:
- All expenses for the year are paid to date and association dues are current for HOA.
Old Business:
- HOA website is up and running and has seen considerable traffic since launched August 14th per administrator. If you are not familiar with the website the address go to https://www.tanglewoodha.com/. Log in information is on the HOA email sent out on the 14th.
- The HOA's new Gmail address (hoatanglewoodboard@gmail.com) is up and running and being checked daily by Tim and Brian. Please send questions to this address, response time is less than a day.
- If there is someone who is not receiving emails from the HOA board please email/call Tim or one of the other board members, so that we can add your email address to the distribution list. We would like to make emails the most common way for correspondence going forward. Please reach out if you know of a member who is not receiving these emails.
New Business:
- Some pool furniture was damaged and has since been collected by the furniture company and will be replaced when back in stock.
- An electrician came to look at the electrical work and pool lights. All electric was cleared and it appears to be a light fixture issue. We will be working to get the light fixture fixed and will follow up with the electrician to close this issue.
Tennis Courts:
- Suzy is looking into the costs of upkeeping/re-finishing the tennis court. We plan to discuss it more in detail in future meetings if you have questions please bring them.
To be Addressed at next meeting:
- Open positions for Grounds/VP for HOA
- Formation of the welcome committee
